IN-HOME NEWBORN SESSIONS
Allow me to capture the sweet, fleeting moments with your precious new family member in a relaxed, intimate setting: Your own home! Newborn photos are best scheduled within the first two weeks of birth, while some parents prefer some time to settle in at home before having photos captured. The choice is yours.
Personally, my most precious photos are the ones that were captured after my son was born. Yes, even more than my wedding photos (which I love!). The thing about newborns is that the time that they have that drowsy , snuggly, fragile personality is such a flash in the pan compared to the rest of their baby-hood. I remember waking up one morning when my son was about 4 weeks old thinking "Where is my baby going?" Through the sleepless newborn haze it can be hard to capture quality moments yourself.
The in-home aspect of the photos is a preference of mine as well. The last thing I felt like doing with a newborn was packing up and going elsewhere to a studio. In home photos allow the whole family to be included, in a comfortable environment, with minimal disruption to your day. Not only do you capture newborn moments that are real, but you also tether them to the memories of your home and family at that moment in time. These sessions are available to be scheduled at an outdoor location or we can make it a cozy homebody session at your family's home. We can chat and see what will be a good fit for your vision.
